Wedding Belles: Makeup Tips for Beautiful Brides
Your wedding is your time to shine, so it is not surprising that most brides demand that everything from their dress to their hair and makeup is absolutely perfect.
Wedding makeup is one of the trickiest things to get right. You want to look sophisticated without blending into the background, and you need your makeup to last all day, which isn’t always as simple as it sounds, which is why this post lays out some of the tips and tricks you can use to ensure your makeup is picture perfect when the time comes to say: “I do.”
Tell Your Makeup Artist What You Want
It’s your big day, so make sure you get what you want. Most makeup artists will be only too happy to accommodate your needs, so if you insist on a bold eyeshadow, or if you want to be so subtly made up that it barely looks like you’re wearing makeup at all, let them know and make sure you get your own way.
Check Your Makeup
Makeup doesn’t always look the same way on you as it does on the model, which is why you might want to test out your wedding day look in advance. Not only should you see how it looks in the mirror, but if you have an obliging photographer, it never hurts to take a few test shots to see how your makeup looks on camera. After all, you will be getting photographed more often than Beyoncé on your big day!
Book Facial Treatments in Advance
Don’t wait until a day or two before the wedding to have any facial treatments you might want because, often, they can irritate the skin and leave it red and flaky for several days. This goes for plucking your eyebrows too! After all, the last thing you want is to look like a tomato in all of your wedding photos!
Highlight Your Best Features
Whether you have beautiful blue eyes or cut-glass cheekbones, use makeup to play up your best features instead of swamping them. A good makeup artist will be able to advise you on this if you’re not sure.
Use a Primer
If you want to look flawless and fresh-faced on your wedding day, you absolutely must apply a primer before you put anything else on your face. A good primer will fill in your pores, cover, and blemishes and give you a clean canvas that will enhance the look of any makeup.
Model in a Bottle
Model in a Bottle is a wonder product, which ensures that your makeup stays in place, no matter how much crying, kissing, or celebrating you do on the big day. Simply spray this over your newly made-up face for a look that lasts long enough for your wedding photographer to capture all the important moments.
Of course, the most important thing you can do if you want to look beautiful on your wedding day is to relax. Easier said than done, I know, but the more nervous and stressed you get, the more likely it is that you’ll end up sweating, crying or frowning so much that your makeup gets ruined!
I know that doesn’t sound easy but trusting a photographer and makeup artist is all we can do at that moment. But, what if you don’t look like the way you wanted or the light didn’t support you and your makeup? Solutions for these is the PHOTOSHOP! I have learned it through an ebook called The Ultimate Beginners’ Guide to Mastering Adobe Photoshop in 1 Week #photoshop. You can get it on Amazon and the book is very clearly written that it becomes so easy for you to know and understand photoshop.
