Sally Hansen Facial Wax Kit Review, Demo
Being a girl is super cool until I see my mustache popping every other week. When I found the Sally Hansen Facial Wax Kit at my local Walmart, I knew I had to try it. I use various methods to get rid of the hair from my body. But, for my face, I usually shave(I know, weird) which I did for the last 3 years, thread it(Indian method) and finally, wax it. Ok, the review blogpost was in my draft since a year and I am finally sharing it with my readers.

My Review of Sally Hansen Facial Wax Kit:
The product comes in a microwaveable container and it is super hard to touch. I took the cap off and microwaved it till I see the product melt and become gooey. The wax kit includes a tiny spatula, but I ended up using a wooden ice-cream stick as it is easy to apply the product on the skin. I dusted my upper lip with some powder to make the surface dry and I applied the wax in direction of my hair growth. I had to blow several times to reduce the wax’ temperature before I actually apply it on my skin. Once applied, I waited for it to dry and then I ripped it against the hair growth. Ouch! It did hurt but it pulled out almost all the hair at once.
Some leftover hair was needed to be plucked out, but it was OK. I did have a good experience with the product.
There is no major issue with the product. However, after the initial few uses, the wax seemed to lose its quality. I mean, once dried on the skin, when I tried to strip, it didn’t come off in one go but broke into pieces. I had to peel the individual pieces to get the product off the skin. Weird but, I don’t know if I am willing to waste my time in getting those mini pieces off of my skin lol. All I want to do is to save some money and get laser hair removal done. Meanwhile check Important Facts About Laser Hair Removal, where I shared my insights on laser hair removal process.
Overall, it is definitely a does the job well – worth a try.
