Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush Review

Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush Review

I am sure Proactiv is one of the very famous brands that totally focuses on Acne and it is proved with results. I have used it during my teenage and I could say the Proactiv kit is just works like a magic on any kind of acne. However, I have stopped using it once my skin got clearer. Off lately my skin started to act weird and I could only think of Proactiv and this time, I have got the whole kit including the Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush. I didn’t use the brush before so I was eager to try and hence bought it. Read on the review to know if I liked it or not.

INR 2050 but you do get it for a cheaper price online.

The Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush comes in a box along with a detachable circular brush,a couple of batteries and the main head. The brush comes with a plastic cover and the brush bristles are soft enough for everyday cleansing. The batteries are chargeable and you need to charge them once in two weeks or so if you kind of use it everyday. The cleanser has very soft bristles and it doesn’t feel harsh on my sensitive skin. Gently exfoliates skin and makes skin soft and supple.
The Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush has only one nob ie to turn it on/off. There is  no speed control button and the head doesn’t rotate. When you turn it on,the brush just vibrates and does nothing. You are supposed to move the brush on your skin and I feel that it is totally waste of I am so lazy 😛 Also, I didn’t like the sound that makes when it vibrates.
Overall, I did liked the brush but I didn’t liked the way it worked. I mean the mechanism is totally useless. However, I have seen that the brand has launched a latest cleanser brush where the head of the brush rotates too along with the gentle vibration.

1. Works well on sensitive skin.
2. Cheapest cleansing brush available in India.
4.The brush bristles are not at all harsh.
5. Batteries are rechargeable.

1. Brush head doesn’t rotate.
2. The vibration at times irritate me.
3. Only one type of brush.

If you want to buy one, try getting the new variant from Proativ. This one is totally a waste of money :/[/dropshadowbox]

That’s to bad that it was a bit of a dud. I remember using proactiv back in the day, worked great but ruined many towels.

Yes, I agree that for this price, it should rotate and scrub for me. I don’t like the bristles on this and I prefer that there is a choice of interchangable srubbers but oh well. Great review!

I love sonic cleansing brushes but such a bummer that the mechanism did not allow for rotation. Thanks for the honest review.

That is not good to have so few speed settings on auto face brush…I appreciate your honest feedback on this Proactiv product!
