Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream-Review, Swatches-NYX Dupe?
Miss Clair Soft Matte Lip Creams are something that I was meaning to try for a long time. Nyx soft matte lip creams were one of the most coveted lip products from NYX. I myself have 3 shades – Cannes, Prague and one more whose name I kind of forgot. I will be writing a review post of Nyx soft matte lip creams real soon but for now, I would like to show off some dupes which are priced almost 1/4th of the original ones. (Do let me know if you would like to see a comparison post).
Let me present you the Miss Claire soft matte lip creams! I have two shades with me. Well except the brand name, the whole product design is just so similar.
INR 150 for 10ml
I have the shades in 10 and 18.
10 is a warm red shade which can be used as a subtle lip tint or a full-on super hot red lip. 18 is a muted pinky n*de with a slight bit of shimmer in it. Though the shimmer is way too less when applied, the shimmer tends to get a bit noticeable once the lip cream dries. It can be a very good MLBB shade for girls with olive/brown skin tones.

MY TAKE on Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams:
I have read about the VOV lip creams on a fellow blog and I have noticed that she got them at PUNE. So I just tried my luck in getting them at Mumbai. To my surprise, these are available in almost all the cosmetic stores. However, I bought these from beauty palace, Andheri because they get these sealed and untouched. They won’t allow you to swatch so they seemed pretty clean, it was just a perfect place to buy.
These are priced at 150 which is way too less for a lip product and hence won my heart. The Miss Claire Lip creams’ package totally resembles the very famous NYX soft matte lip creams.
Can I call them a dupe? Well, Lets me just wait.
The formula is just like the NYX ones. The lip cream is a semi-liquid state. This makes the application so easy. The doe foot applicator is just perfect to pick up little quantity and apply it precisely to my thin lips. Once I apply the lip cream, the consistency is more like a lightweight powdery creamy but it settles as a matte finis. Once set, it just had to stay. The matte finish is super light on lips and not drying. It survives meals and drinks equally. You can easily count on it for 4-6hours. This doesn’t leave a tint behind. The miss claire soft matte lip creams fade away evenly. No patchy look.
1. Amazing Color payoff.
2. Super Affordable.
3. Similar to NYX soft matte lip cream
4. Too many shades to choose from.
1. Availability is a major con. Though you get in a lot of Mumbai/Pune stores you don’t always get a sealed one.
Overall, this is a must own product for every matte lipstick lover or should I say NYX lip cream lover. This is totally a dupe of NYX soft matte lip creams but for a quarter of the price. But amazingly these Miss Claire Lip Creams last real long and have great shade choices.
