Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer Review

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer Review

These days I am just going crazy over the skincare and peels are my thing now. I am religiously using them every other day and I made sure they are all safe for everyday usage. I have been using the new Kate Somerville Exfolikate Glow Moisturizer since some days and I am all set to share my opinion on it. Read on to know if it lived up to the huge claims the brand made.

Price : $65 for 1.7Fl.Oz and it is available on the brand’s website – Product link

My experience:

To start off, the moisturizer comes in a glass tub with the base colors as white and grey/silver with orange letters. The package totally matches with the brand’s logo. The moisturizer is in mint green color and its texture is creamy gel-like and it has a very thin consistency.

I have been using this moisturizer for a month now and I am here to say that it works. The product gets absorbed into my skin easily and doesn’t feel heavy. It is easy to apply as the product just glides on the skin. I do notice subtle glow after each use and I can say my skin’s texture is improved over a period of two-three weeks. It has a blend of Glycolic and Lactic Acids combined with Pineapple, Pumpkin and Papaya Enzymes which help in reducing the appearance of surface dullness and uneven skin texture. I use this in the night followed by a sunscreen the next morning. The Kate Somerville Exfolikate Glow Moisturizer works just like any other moisturizer except for added benefits. My skin feels like as if I had a mini facial every other day and also made my skin smoother and radiant.

Final Words:

Like any other product, the Kate Somerville Exfolikate Glow moisturizer has its share of cons. Firstly, the product targets on the exterior layers of the skin which make the skin very sensitive to the Sun. It is surface exfoliator which exfoliates the skin’s outer layer, I did expect that it would treat (very little hope) my tiny acne scars – like the chemical peels usually do. But, it didn’t really do anything to my scars, I know I am exaggerating but this is my opinion. The price point is something that can’t be ignored, but the product lasts really long.

Overall, the Kate Somerville Exfolikate Glow Moisturizer stands by the claims. I highly recommended this product to anyone who is new to chemical peels and is interested in getting the (almost same)effect at home can try this.
