Baba Ramdev Patanjali Herbal Kajal Review
I have always loved using Kohl and I seriously don’t know how many kajal pencils I have with me right now. Whenever a brand comes up with a kohl/kajal I tend to buy it.I know most of us are like this. If the kajal is advertised to be jetblack, intense and long lasting, I am completely sold. But whenever I come home after buying a kajal and start using it, few kohl pencils suit me and the others gave me panda eyes or they would sting my eyes. I am sure you can relate with my situation. Recently, I have started incorporating more herbal/natural products in my skincare and makeup. I know a lipstick can never be herbal until and unless you use a beetroot as a coloring agent. But it is possible with the KAJAL. I have seen Lotus Herbals launched their Colorkick kajal and many other brands did. Out of them, one brand’s kajal totally caught my attention.
The brand is Patanjali and now they have their own Herbal Kajal.
Price & Quantity:
Patanjali Herbal Kajal is priced at 90INR for 3gms
Look at the ingredients. I have never known that a kajal can be made out of fruits.
The Patanjali Herbal kajal comes in a bullet made of plastic. The cap is transparent and we can see how much is left to be used up. When I say plastic, don’t assume that it is cheap but the package is too sturdy. While I was clicking pictures, the product dropped from the table and it didn’t even develop a scratch.
I use kajal to line my eyes and use it on waterline. I have recently come across some kajal pencils which are known to be so pigmented and all but they sting the eye when you apply it on the waterline.Of lately I am using the kohl/kajal to line my eyelid as a liquid eyeliner but I totally gave up on waterline and tightline. But this kajal and it’s shape reminded me of the old Hashmi’s kajal which is definitely the best kajal for tightline and I gave this patanjali herbal kajal a try. Day 1 I have used it on my lower water line. It felt cool and made my eyes look so pretty 😀 . Day 2 I have used it to tightline my eyes and trust me it made the whole process so easier and I really like the feel of this kajal that gave to my eyes. It stayed on for 5 hours without smudging and slowly it starts to fade away. One swipe may not be deep enough but 2-3 swipes make the colour more intense and nice. I don’t think this Baba Ramdev Herbal kajal is made for creating a winged eye liner because the tip of the kajal is just not so sharp. On the bright note, the blunt edge is just perfect for tight lining my eyes.
After almost 3-4 hours of application
1. Completely a herbal Kajal.
2. Gives a cooling effect to the eyes.
3. Only 2 swipes can make the color so intense.
4. Staying power is nice.
5. Pocket friendly.
The only con is that the Patanjali Herbal Kajal is not easily available.
